Promotor Frank Warren is respectful of Alexander Usik’s decision to take time to recover from Dubua Duba, but expects that the Ukrainian will soon decide what to do with the titles.
“No one knows what the Usik is going to do. We are waiting. But this is only his choice. He always did what he was asked for (promoters and organizations – approx), and we should treat Usik and his choice with respect. I think everyone is respected in the boxing world. ”
“We do not say that let’s take the titles from Usik. However, there are rules of compulsory applicants and protection of their titles. Parker or wardley should become a rival of Usik, ”Vorren said.
Earlier, WBO ordered Usika to fight with the winner of the match Joseph Parker – Fabio Wardley.
