Initially, a boxer from New Zealand planned to go against the world champion by IBF Daniel Dubua, but the Briton became ill and gave up a duel.
It is reported that the winner of the Parker – Bakole confrontation will be a mandatory contender for Alexander Usik for the WBO title.
It is worth noting that the Ukrainian boxer has repeatedly stated that he was interested in the fight for the title of absolute world champion and unification of titles. Now Usik will have to postpone a meeting with Dubois or negotiate with the winner of the Parker pair – Bakole.
