On the other hand, there are not many rivals who could be called his equals. There are two champions – Badu Jack and Hilberto Ramirez. There is a contender for Jack’s belt – Noel Mikaelyan. But among others, there are not so many options. That’s why you have to deal with the one the organization puts against you.
The fan community expected another quick knockout from Opetai. But she got on the show, in which Jay could not pick up the keys to the opponent. At the beginning of the match, in the second round, the Australian was almost knocked down. After that, he missed many counter punches and left the ring with two bruises under his eyes.
All this was done by a 40-year-old applicant who was not considered a serious opponent.
It cannot be said that Chinkara won during the match. Even in that successful second round, it was his only success. But it would be terribly strange to watch a duel, where Husein also interrupts such an opponent and takes rounds. And so caused a lot of problems.
It was Opetaya who won the rounds. Due to activity, pressing, hits, champion status. But the opponent caused him a lot of problems, and this is a wake-up call.
Let’s imagine that in his place would be Hilberto Ramirez. He is also a sufficiently large boxer with good footwork, mobility and accurate straight lines. And an even more experienced boxer against the background of Chinkara, who has not yet met anyone.
The probability that Opetaia would have received much more is much higher. This is close to defeat.
However, it is worth noting that Jay can turn the fight at any time. This time he ended the rather uninteresting spectacle with a terrible hit. The left hand “landed” on the opponent’s head so that he immediately turned off.

Take Bada Jack. He is also many years old, he lives in Abu Dhabi and is finishing his career. Why go to a risky battle again? Opetaya can be sent not only to retirement, but also to the hospital. You can give Mikaelyan a rematch, which was sanctioned by the WBC. And then go to fight against Jake Paul.
