One of the most expensive fights in history may be rematched in boxing

Legendary boxers Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao could meet again in the ring – the parties are in talks about a rematch in 2026, according to The Ring insider Mike Coppinger.

The fight is seen as another major boxing event to be broadcast on Netflix.

Mayweather and Pacquiao already met in 2015 – then the American won by unanimous decision of the judges. This fight became one of the most expensive in history, both for the boxers themselves and for the organizers of the show.

The 48-year-old Mayweather last appeared in the professional ring in August 2017, when he defeated Conor McGregor prematurely. The 46-year-old Pacquiao returned in July this year — his fight with WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios ended in a draw.

Interestingly, Mayweather already has a fight with Mike Tyson scheduled for 2026. And Pacquiao was in talks about a fight with Vasyl Lomachenko.
