WBC, WBO and WBA heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk talked about how his first training went:

“At the first training session, I got hit hard in the face and my nose bled. I washed it, looked – as if I did not break anything. After training, he asked the coach when the next class was. He replied: “The day after tomorrow, but you will not come.”

I didn’t answer anything, but I was thinking a lot at home. Why did he say that? Does the trainer think I was in too much pain? Am I a bad boxer? Apparently, the coach said this specifically to make me believe in myself more,” Usyk shared his memories.

In the professional ring, Usyk had 23 fights – he never lost and ended 14 fights prematurely. Earlier it was reported that Alexander admitted that he did not like boxing as a child.
