No chance? Usyk’s opponent was advised to avoid a fight with the Ukrainian

IBF Cruiserweight World Champion Jay Opetaya can hold a fight with the WBC, WBO and WBA heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk. Boxingnews24 journalists advised the Australian boxer not to enter the ring against the Ukrainian:

“Usyk and Opetaya met during the Ring Awards ceremony. When they stood next to each other, Alexander looked much bigger than the Australian. If this fight happens, Jay will not be able to use his size advantage that he has come to rely on at cruiserweight.

Moreover, his style can lead Usyk to beat him easily. Opetaya uses a hybrid style, which the Ukrainian has often seen during his years of amateur fights in Ukraine, so he can easily overcome it.

In any case, the Australian should not enter the ring with Usyk. Even if Opetaya gains mass, he will be small in the ring. No favorable outcome for the Aussie. He is not another Evander Holyfield. Jay does not have such a talent,” journalists believe.
