The absolute champion of the world in the second lightweight Naoya Inoue (32–0, 27 KOs) commented on the victory in the match, which took place on Saturday, December 27.

In the Saudi Riyal, the representative of Japan outboxed the Mexican Alan David Picasso by unanimous decision of the judges and defended the WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF titles.

After the final gong, the reporter asked Inoue whether he should take the first place in the ranking of the strongest boxers in the world, which is currently occupied by Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.

“Mr. Usyk came to watch my fight tonight, but actually I’m not very happy with my performance. I should have played this match much better. Therefore, I will not say anything about the rating and next time I will be much better,” admitted Inoue.

Usyk visited Riyadh to watch the fight of the Japanese “Monster”, and after the fight he climbed into the ring and congratulated the champion on his victory.
