It turned out that this fight was the most bet in the history of professional boxing. Company representative Greg Ferris said:
“Our branch is always ready for increased interest in fights in which famous athletes fight. The meeting between Tyson and Paul gathered fans of different categories near the screens. These fans have different preferences, but they supported their favorite in such an event. The amount of bets in this match broke the record and turned out to be the largest in the history of this sport.”
Ferris did not name the exact amount, but experts believe that a bet was made for a total amount of about 60 million dollars. American specialists said that the fight between Tyson and Paul broke the record of the meeting between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, which took place in May 2024 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
Earlier, Usyk recalled the episode of the first match and admitted that the opponent failed to shake him.
