Lost 4 out of 5 matches. The former champion is not going to end his career

Deontay Wilder plans to return to the ring in 2025”, — write: sport.ua

Former world champion in super heavyweight Deontay Wilder is not going to end his career – this was announced by his coach Malik Scott.

“He definitely wants to fight. At least one battle will be held. Deontay is relaxing with his family and doing business. I don’t understand how he lost the last fight. This happens sometimes.

Fans love Wilder’s fights. A fight with Anthony Joshua could interest the fans. The super heavyweight is still breathing, but the situation could be better. There are about five boxers left in the division who are interesting to the audience,” Malik Scott said.

Deontay Wilder has lost four of his last five fights – the American was upset by Tyson Fury (twice), Joseph Parker and Zhang Zhilei. Wilder’s only victory was in 2022 – he knocked out Robert Helenius in the first round.

Fury previously called on Wilder to retire.
