Late knockout. Mungia defeated Bazinyan

Current holder of the WBC Silver second middleweight belt Jaime Mungia (44-1, 35 KOs) defeated Eric Bazinyan (32-1-1, 23 KOs), who competes under the Canadian flag.

The outcome of the fight came in the 10th round – Mungia won by knockout.

For the 28-year-old Mexican, it was the first fight after starting cooperation with the Top Rank promotion company. It was also Mungia’s first fight since his loss to compatriot Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, Jaime’s first in the professional ring.

By the way, Jaime Mungia inflicted Bazinyan’s first professional defeat.
