Team director Oleksandr Usyk Serhiy Lapin said that the Ukrainian boxer will have about five more fights before the end of his professional career.

Ukrainian promoter Oleksandr Krasiukin conversation with the editor Sport.ua responded to Serhiy Lapin’s words, explaining the motivation for holding so many matches.

– You say unequivocally: “Usyk should be finished.” Why doesn’t Oleksandr’s team think about it yet? What motivates Usyk to still look for fights?

– Nothing motivates Usyk. He himself said that discipline is his platform for success. It is unlikely that Sashko is looking for fights. He definitely doesn’t need them anymore. And the team needs him to go to the ring again and again, because otherwise they will be left without a salary, – said Krasiuk.

Earlier, the WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF heavyweight title holder (over 90.7 kg) Oleksandr Usyk (24–0, 15 KOs) talked about his plans and admitted when he intends to end his professional career.
