Former world champion Joseph Parker explained the reason for his defeat to the British heavyweight Fabio Wardley in a fight in London.
“He got hit with a few punches in the tenth round. I felt them, but I was not seriously frightened. Wanted to continue, as after the second round, and, in general, continued the fight. But in the tenth and eleventh rounds, he was hit again several times… Apparently, the referee decided that there were too many punches. Too many hits,” said Parker.
In the evening, on October 25, a big evening of boxing was held at the “O2 Arena” in London. The main event was a fight in the heavyweight division – former world champion Joseph Parker and British boxer Fabio Wordley met in the ring. Wardley won by technical knockout in the 11th round.
