In Poland, Usyk was rejected because of his act

Oleksandr Usyk lost some favor in Poland after it became known about his participation in supporting the restoration of the Roman Shukhevych Museum in Lviv.

According to the Polish media, it was after this that Usyk’s potential meeting with the President of Poland Karol Nawrocki, which was previously planned during the boxer’s stay in the country, did not take place. It is reported that the president’s advisers recognized such a meeting as undesirable from a political and image point of view.

Subsequently, the first reaction from the president’s office followed, where it was reported that they do not comment on unofficial events and do not disclose information about possible or unrealized meetings.
