Grand battle. Shakur Stevenson challenged the world champion

WBC World Wide Weight Champion (up to 61.2 kg) Shakur Stevenson (24–0, 11 KO) challenged a compatriot Theophim Lopez (22-1, 13 KO), which has the WBO title in the first half -middle division (up to 63.5 kg).

Shakur: “I heard that you, theophimo, want to go to the ring against me. What prevents you from doing this in the next duel? I’m not bluffy, I need to make the box big again ”

Lopez last went to the ring in May, when he defeated American Arnold Barbos unanimous decision of judges. Stevenson stopped Mexican William Seped in July – the battle passed all 12 rounds, the judges recorded a confident victory for the champion from the United States.
