British promoter Frank Warren hopes to arrange a match between Oleksandr Usyk and Briton Fabio Wordley.
“Without a doubt, Usyk is an excellent boxer and the best fighter of his generation. He collected all the belts and fulfilled all the requirements of the organizations. He has stated that he is ready to fight the winner and I hope he keeps his word. This is a big fight for Britain and a very important event,” Warren said.
In the evening, on October 25, a big evening of boxing was held at the “O2 Arena” in London. The main event was a fight in the heavyweight division – former world champion Joseph Parker and British boxer Fabio Wordley met in the ring. Wardley won by technical knockout in the 11th round.
