British boxer Derek Chisora (35–13, 23 KOs) was supposed to enter the ring on February 8 – it was planned that he would meet with the American Jarrell Miller (26-1-2, 22 KOs).

talkSPORT reports that the fight is in danger of being called off because the boxers cannot agree on the financial side of the issue. Chisora’s promoter is ready to arrange a fight for his protege with another opponent and has already started looking for suitable options.

Derek does not want to postpone the fight, so he will definitely enter the ring on February 8. The British athlete’s team informed journalists that the name of the new opponent will be announced within the next week.

Chisora last fought on July 27, 2024, when he sensationally defeated compatriot Joe Joyce (16–2) by unanimous decision.

Derek is known to Ukrainian fans for his fight with the champion Oleksandr Usyk – in October 2020, he lost in a competitive fight (UD 12).
