Ukrainian heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk told how he raises children. The athlete and his wife Kateryna have four children.

“Up to the age of 14-15, it seems to me that children need to be forced to do some things. Because when they say: give a child a choice, he will choose not to do anything. Everything is simple with my children: I help them. I have to raise my children in such a way that when they reach adulthood, they can live without my help. Yes, I can be present somewhere, help them. But for them to have their own business.”

“It is necessary to download them, give speeches, study, travel. It must be done. Someone says: but we cannot travel abroad. It’s all bullshit. You can’t go abroad, but you can go around the country, because we have a lot of cool places. Just go to some location, where there is a river, something else. Children see that you are interested in something. I go to training with them, talk, eat, drink, walk or just sit and watch how they communicate with each other, what they say, what they are interested in,” Usyk said.
