DuBois set his sights on a world heavyweight title. There are two options

Former world champion in super heavyweight (over 90.7 kg), British Daniel Dubois (22–3, 21 KO) decided on plans for 2026. He said this in an interview with IFL.TV.

The British boxer intends to regain the heavyweight title, which he lost in July, when he lost to Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine by knockout in the fifth round.

DuBois said that his main goal is to fight for the championship belt, regardless of who will own this regalia. However, first Daniel plans to enter the ring against his compatriot Fabio Wordley, who defeated New Zealander Joseph Parker in October.

“We are planning to have a match against Wardley. DuBois is ready to accept this challenge,” said promoter Sam Jones.

The fight between DuBois and Wordley may not take place because of Usyk, who has to face Fabio, who is a mandatory contender on the line of the World Boxing Organization (WBO).

If Wordley refuses to enter the ring against his countryman, then Dubois plans to arrange a fight with the WBC interim world champion Agit Kabayel, who represents Germany.
