“Three boxers with African roots help the world champion from Ukraine”, – WRITE: Sport.ua
On July 19, a fight for the title of absolute champion of the world in the heavyweight will be held at the English Stadium “Wembley” – the Ukrainian will meet a Ukrainian in the ring Alexander Usik (23-0, 14 KO) and British Daniel Duba (22-2, 21 KOs).
The day before, the names of the first three boxers, which are sparring partners of Usik and help the Ukrainian, prepare for revenge with the winner of the IBF title:
- Jack Molovai (16–4–1, 12 ko, Belgium)
- Peter Kadir (20-1.12 KO, Germany)
- Olevaseun Salami (9-0, 7 KO, Austria).
It is worth noting that all three boxers have African roots, and representatives of Germany and Belgium are already familiar with Usik – they were in his training camp on the eve of the first duoua match.
In August 2023, Alexander knocked out the British in the ninth round. Since then, the Ukrainian boxer has managed to overcome Tyson Fury twice and become an absolute world champion.
