Former World Cup of Squat Weightweight Champion Joe Joyce (16-3, 15 KO) will fight on April 5 in the arena “Co-Op Live Arena” in Manchester (England).
Initially, it was planned that the boxer would meet with his compatriot Dillian White (31-3, 21 KOs), but this match was canceled due to the injury of the latter. Promotors quickly found a replacement for the British – a Croat will come to the ring Philip Khrgovich (17-11, 14 KO).
Joyce was previously considered a very promising boxer and won the current champion Daniel Duba, but in recent years his career has been regressing. In the last four battles, the British suffered three defeats.
Last June, Khrgovich tried to overcome the same Duba, but his attempt was unsuccessful. The Croatian boxer was knocked out in the eighth round.
