Dmytro SOSNOVSKY: “Joshua is more versatile, and this is his advantage”

On September 21, a fight between professional boxers Daniel DuBois and Anthony Joshua will take place in London, where the IBF heavyweight championship belt will be at stake.

Head coach of the national boxing team of Ukraine Dmytro Sosnovsky exclusively for Sport.ua shared his expectations from the confrontation between English athletes at Wembley:

– I remember these guys well from amateur boxing. They were well trained and already demonstrated their great potential, especially Joshua, who became the Olympic champion.

And although both have a good boxing school, still, Joshua is a more versatile athlete, while DuBois is trained for a knockout blow. That is why I rate Anthony’s chances higher, but we must not forget that in boxing everything can change dramatically with one well-hit “shot”. Especially when there are such powerful masters in the ring.

It is difficult to predict whether the participants will be able to last all 12 rounds, but I feel that the fight will be interesting, said Sosnovsky.
