New details have emerged of the tragic car crash in Nigeria that left former boxing world champion Anthony Joshua injured and two of his close friends, Sina Gami and Kevin “Latif” Ayodele, dead.
19-year-old Ifeoluwa Adeniyi, son of driver Joshua Adeniyi Kayode, has publicly defended his father, denying allegations of dangerous and careless driving.
“My father did not violate. He was driving within the speed limit, but suddenly the brakes failed. He pressed the pedal and nothing happened.
If this van had not been parked illegally, nothing would have happened. My father has been driving Anthony for three years now, he is an experienced and responsible driver,” added Ifeoluwa.
