Trainer of world lightweight champion Jervonta Davis Kenny Ellis spoke ambiguously about the Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, the super heavyweight world champion according to the WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO versions.

“I cannot rate Usyk highly, where did this guy come from? He was neither in my top 10 nor even in my top 20.

Fans now don’t know the boxers of the past, they only know the fighters of the present. Even the challengers of past eras were stronger than today’s world champions,” Ellis said.
