British electrician Josh Pedley (15–1, 4 KO) won the first battle after signing a contract with an influential compatriot Eddie Hirn. The former contender for the title of World Champion caused the first defeat in the professional career of Serb Mark Tsvetanovich (13-0, 6 KO).
From the first seconds, Pedley took possession of the initiative, moved well in the ring, relied on a series of unsuccessful blows. In the fifth round, Josh’s rival twice visited the knockdowns and could no longer continue the fight.
The British closed the defeat of the WBC title of Shakura Stevenson – in February in Saudi Arabia he capitulated in the ninth round.
