Bakole’s abuser and former rival Usik will return to the ring on April 19

On April 19, a boxing evening organized by the SHOWTIME Boxing Promotions will take place at the Thunder Studios Arena in Long Beach (USA).

Representatives of overweight (more than 90.7 kg) – American will be released to the ring Michael Hunter (24–1–2, 17 KOs) will fight against the compatriot Christopher Laugoy (20–1–1, 20 KO). The match will be in the format of eight rounds.

Hunter was the only defeat in his career from Ukrainian Alexander Usik in 2017 by a unanimous judicial decision. After that failure, the American defeated strong and experienced rivals – Yago Kiladze, Martin Bakole, Alexander Ustinov. It ranks second in the World Boxing Association (WBA).

Lavjoy won 20 wins in 20 matches, all by knockout. 18 Christopher rivals gave way to the first round. The only time lost Germany Mahmuda Charru in 2021 (KO 2).
