Former two-time world champion Anthony Joshua explained why he decided to join the training camp of the Ukrainian super heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk.
“Usyk is one of the best in the world, and this is a credit not only to him personally, but also to the people who work next to him. That’s why I joined their team,” Joshua said.
Usyk defeated the Briton twice in the fights of 2021 and 2022, taking away championship titles from him, which Joshua was never able to get back.
Earlier, Anthony Joshua revealed how his trainer Ben Davison reacted to him joining Oleksandr Usyk’s training camp.
