The last time Joshua entered the ring was in September of last year, when he was defeated by a knockout by Daniel DuBois. Jake Paul defeated former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June 2025.
Earlier, the streaming service Netflix confirmed that the fight between Anthony Joshua and boxer-YouTuber Jake Paul will take place in Miami on December 19. The fight will be official and last a maximum of 8 rounds.
