An undefeated Ukrainian boxer will fight for exit to the WBC Grand Prix finals

On Saturday, October 19, the Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) will host the semi-finals of the Grand Prix of the World Boxing Council, which will determine all applicants for victory in the prestigious tournament.

Representatives of the first average weight will meet in the ring (up to 63.5 kg) – Danilo Lozan (15–0, 9 KO) from Ukraine and Mujibilo Tursunov (8–0, 2 KO), which stands for Uzbekistan. The battle will be in format up to six rounds.

Lozan spent three duels in 2025, which took place at the Grand Prix. At the stage 1/16 of the finals, Kamronbek Ashmatov (Uzbekistan) unanimously judged, in the 1/8 finals, Knipus, Eric Basran, knocked out (TKO 3).

He last went to the ring in August, when he won a difficult battle against Sanatali Toltayev from Kazakhstan. Due to the cut, the match had to be stopped in the fifth round, and the winner was recognized by Lozan, who was leading on judicial notes.
