Alexander Usyk: “I don’t want to look like Ronaldo. Have you seen what he became? ”

On July 19, there will be a fight for the title of absolute world champion in the heavyweight weight (more than 90.7 kg) – in the ring will meet the winner of WBC, WBO and WBA titles Alexander Usik (23-0, 14 KO) and British Daniel Duba (22-2, 21 KOs).

After the official announcement of the match, the Ukrainian boxer met with journalists and answered questions about future confrontation. In the course of the conversation, he confessed that sports occupy an important place in his life:

“I do not drink, smoke or go to nightclubs. Therefore, if I did not go to workout, then apparently just broke things in the house and annoyed his wife even more. For example, Ronaldo was a big player – not Cristiano, but an old Brazilian football player – but when he retired … Did you see what he became big?

He was so fast, strong in dribbling and thin, but when he stopped playing football and sports, he became a very big man. He stopped training and lost his shape. I do not want to be like him … I want to live long and create Ukrainian boxing schools and teams, ”Usik admitted.
