Former world champion in two weight categories Lawrence Okolie (21–1, 16 KOs) plans to hold a second fight in the super heavyweight division.

The British boxer is going to meet the experienced Cuban Luis Ortiz (34-3, 29 KOs), but the exact date of the fight has not yet been announced. Insider and columnist Mike Coppinger believes that the fight will take place in England.

Okoli made his debut in the new division on December 7 last year, when he knocked out German opponent Hussain Muhammad in the first round. Ortiz last appeared in the ring on January 13 – the aged Cuban (45 years old) finished the fight also in the first round, defeating Colombian Francisco Cordero.

Lawrence has repeatedly stated that his main goal in the heavyweight division is a fight with WBC, WBO and WBA title holder Oleksandr Usyk.
