“The enemy made three missile strikes, using five missiles, 70 air strikes, dropped 193 guided air bombs. In addition, it used 5,231 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,583 attacks on populated areas and positions of our troops,” the summary reads as of 10:00 p.m.

The enemy made 22 attacks in the Pokrovsky direction. The occupiers tried to advance near the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyna, Molodetske, Filia and towards the settlements of Novopavlivka and Novye Shakhove. In some locations, fighting is still going on,” the message stated.
It was also hot in the Gulyaipil direction in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Fighting also continued in the South-Slobozhansk, Lymansk, Oleksandrivsk, and Prydniprovsk directions.

The Pokrovsky direction, according to the reports of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, remains the most intense in terms of the number of Russian assaults.
On January 22, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that the Defense Forces continue to restrain Russian troops in Pokrovsk and Myrnograd in Donetsk region, as small groups of the Russian Federation are trying to infiltrate the northern regions of both cities. He noted that as a result of the active assault actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, another attempt by the Russian invaders to seize these settlements was thwarted.
Fighting in Pokrovsk has been going on since October 2025, when the Russian army managed to break through to the city after several months of fighting on its slopes. Almost immediately, Russian soldiers began to be recorded in Pokrovsk’s satellite city of Mirnograd.
