Due to the threat of shelling of railway infrastructure in Sumy Oblast, Ukrzaliznytsia changed the routes of several trains. In order to maintain a convenient connection, a new daily fast Kharkiv-Suma train has been launched. It is reported “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
“Ukrzaliznytsia” temporarily adjusted the movement of some trains on the Sumy direction due to constant shelling. Routes have been changed for transit trains #45/46 and #113/114, which used to go from Uzhhorod to Kharkiv. Now they will run south – through Lubny, Myrhorod, Poltava and Lyubotyn.
In order for passengers to conveniently reach Sumy and beyond, a new daily fast train No. 213/214 Kharkiv-Sumy has been launched. It departs from Kharkiv at 09:00 and arrives in Sumy at 12:17, returns at 12:57 and arrives in Kharkiv at 16:01. The train stops in Lubotyn, Bogoduhov, Kirikyvka and Trostyanka. This will become a key route for transfers in two directions.
In Kharkiv, passengers will be able to transfer to seven long-distance trains, in particular to Uzhgorod, Odesa, Chernivtsi and Przemyśl. In Sumy, a transfer to train No. 775/776 Sumy-Kyiv is guaranteed, from which routes to more than 30 destinations around the country are already available. “We advise you to choose the option “with transfers” when buying tickets in the application or on the website. The system will automatically offer optimal routes and available travel options,” Ukrzaliznytsia explained.
Now passengers can plan trips from Sumy to Kharkiv, Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine without any difficulties, even in difficult security conditions.
