In Kryvyi Rih, on February 9, around 4:30 p.m., a traffic accident occurred involving a judge from one of the district courts.

According to preliminary information, the driver of a BMW car ran over an 11-year-old boy.
The child was crossing the road with his mother. According to law enforcement officers, it happened on a regulated pedestrian crossing.
After the collision, the boy suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
Doctors assess the child’s condition as serious. Investigators worked on the spot, recording the circumstances of the accident. Law enforcement officers also remove video recordings from nearby cameras in order to recreate the full picture of the event.
Under the procedural leadership of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, criminal proceedings have been opened. Qualification — violation of traffic safety rules, which caused serious bodily injury, according to Part 2 of Art. 286 of the CCU.
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Territorial Department of the SBI in Poltava. All details are set: speed, traffic lights, actions of the driver and pedestrians at the time of collision.
