In 2025, the Office of the Ombudsman received more than 1,700 appeals from citizens regarding violations of human rights and legislation during the passage of military medical commissions (MMC).
This was announced by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, during a meeting of the TSK.
According to him, the most common violation is the accelerated passing of the VLK procedure without proper verification of medical documentation and without examination of conscripts or military personnel. Lubinets noted that most of the appeals concern issues of health care and medical provision.
It will be recalled that in Chernivtsi, a passenger of a car refused to present documents during the inspection and injured a soldier of the TCC. Traumatic weapons were used in response.
In the Saltiv district of Kharkiv, during a document check, a man attacked representatives of the TCC and SP with a knife. As a result of the incident, two servicemen were wounded in the head and body.
Law enforcement officers detained a local resident who opened fire on the TCC alert group in Vinnytsia on February 1.
