In the near future, the parliament may approve a legislative initiative that will regulate the issue of recreation for young military personnel.
The bill provides for 12 months of guaranteed exemption from re-mobilization for those who have completed a year of service under the contract.
People’s deputy from the “Servant of the People” faction, Fedir Venislavskyi, reported on the prospects for the adoption of this document on the air of the telethon.
According to him, consideration of the draft law is scheduled for the next plenary session, which should take place after February 11.
The issue remained unsettled for a long time due to political discussions and ambiguous interpretations of individual provisions.
However, currently the document is fully ready for voting, which will allow to relieve social tension among young defenders.
“I think that we will adopt it at this plenary session. And young people who have served under the contract will have the right to 12 months of rest and will not be mobilized again to any sectors of defense,” Fyodor Venislavsky emphasized during the telecast.
We will remind you that the “18-24” project, which allows young people to voluntarily choose to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has become an important initiative to support the choice of those who consciously want to join the army.
Also, from now on, all combat brigades can participate in the “Contract 18-24” program.
