There’s a new Super Bowl champion.

The Seattle Seahawks beat the New England Patriots to take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

The first quarter ended with Seattle ahead 3-0. At halftime, the score was 9-0, and the third quarter ended at 12-0. The Seahawks managed to keep the Patriots from getting on the scoreboard until the fourth quarter. The game ended at 29-13.

Seattle won the Super Bowl one time previously, in 2014, against the Denver Broncos. This marked their fourth Super Bowl appearance.

The Patriots have won the Super Bowl six times, all between the years of 2002 and 2019, tying a record with the Pittsburgh Steelers. They have been in the Super Bowl a total of 12 times. They previously played Seattle in the Big Game in 2015, with the Patriots winning that matchup.

Running back Kenneth Walker of the Seahawks was named MVP.

Super Bowl LX aired live on NBC and Peacock.

Bad Bunny performed during the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show on Sunday, joined by a slew of stars including Lady Gaga and a couple who actually got married on the field. Other Super Bowl LX performers included Green Day, who led the pre-game performance; Charlie Puth, who performed the National Anthem; Brandi Carlile, who sang “America the Beautiful”; and Coco Jones, who performed “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
