Former football player of Shakhtar Dmytro Topalov explained why he decided to leave Ukraine and moved to Aktobe.
“I joined Shakhtar when I was 7 years old. Today, my journey here comes to an end. 20 years in one club is a lifetime. The path that shaped me as a football player and as a person.
Thanks to the president of the club, all my coaches – from the children’s academy to the professional level, club employees and fans. “Shakhtar” will forever remain a part of me,” Topalov wrote on Instagram.
It is noted that Ivan Ordets plays for the Kazakh club. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, a scandal arose around Ivan’s position – he continued to play as part of the Moscow “Dynamo” and even participated in the team’s corporate parties.
