Ajax rookie Oleksandr Zinchenko, who moved from Arsenal in the winter, has been given the right to take part in the next match of the Dutch championship against AZ Alkmaar, which will take place this Sunday, reports De Telegraaf.

Earlier, Ajax coach Fred Grim reported that the Ukrainian all-rounder will not be able to participate in the game due to problems with a work visa. However, as of Friday, February 6, all formalities have been settled, and Zinchenko can now train with the team and go on the field.

The 29-year-old joined Ajax to strengthen the left-back position, but the coach does not rule out that Zinchenko could also be an option for the center of midfield.

The Amsterdammers travel to Alkmaar on the back of a poor run against AZ in recent years, with Ajax’s last ten meetings ending without a win, including a crushing 0-6 defeat in the Dutch Cup last month.
