According to rosZMI, an unknown person shot Alekseeva several times in the back, after which he disappeared. The investigative committee confirmed that a criminal case has been opened for the attempt, and the search for the assailant is ongoing.
It is known that the general was sent to the hospital, but there is currently no information about his condition. But according to some reports, he is in serious condition.
RosZMI also reported with reference to witnesses that the attack took place on the steps of a residential building on the Volgograd highway, when the general was leaving the apartment. Residents heard shots and cries for help. When they went to the scene of the incident, they saw Alekseev himself covered in blood.
