DTEK energy engineers explained why in Kyiv, houses belonging to the same group can have different power outage schedules. According to them, this is due to the peculiarities of the operation of power grids and the need to promptly respond to the load. The company noted that temporary schedules are the maximum possible option in the current environment, which allows consumers to at least partially plan their day.

It is reported DTEK.

“Usual schedules are not working in the capital now. There are temporary ones that are individual for each address,” the message reads.

Also, according to energy experts, the situation in the networks in different districts or streets can be radically different due to attacks on the energy infrastructure.

“The house next door may be connected to another, less damaged power node, so your light schedules now don’t match,” the company explains.

Due to the damage and high load on the networks from the frost, the energy companies cannot yet return to their usual schedules.

“Temporary schedules are the most that could be done so that you could somehow plan your day,” DTEK added.
