The delegations reached an agreement according to which the Russian Federation and Ukraine carried out the mutual release of 157 prisoners of war. This is the first exchange in the last five months.
The communiqué also states that during the two days, the delegations held extensive discussions on the remaining unresolved issues, including the methods of implementing the ceasefire and monitoring the cessation of hostilities.
The delegations agreed to inform their respective capitals and continue trilateral talks in the coming weeks. They expressed gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for organizing the talks.
Separately, it is added that Ukraine is grateful to President Donald Trump for his leadership in promoting efforts aimed at ending the war.
