Ex-head of ARMA Olena Duma on the activities of NABU: “They are fighting for their own interests in the government.”

The former head of ARMA, Olena Duma, said that NABU today, instead of systematically combating corruption, is expanding its influence in the authorities. She also thinks that the bureau’s activities are similar to selective shows, because the anti-corruption institutions “allow the people involved in the investigations to leave the country.” This was reported by the ex-offender on the air of her YouTube channel “Think”. Former head of ARMA Olena Duma stated that NABU today, instead of systematically combating corruption, is expanding its influence in the authorities. She also thinks that the activity of the bureau similar to selective shows, as the persons involved in the investigations are “allowed to leave the country” by the anti-corruption institutions. This was reported by the ex-offender on the air of her YouTube channel “Think”.

“Nowadays, our shows should not be selective, against Tymoshenko, against the people’s elected representative and so on. They don’t chase them, they let them go abroad. Let’s tell it like it is,” Duma stated.

She believes that the current situation in the country is the result of a distortion of public opinion.

“We live with you, today we have a question of survival. Either we learn to tell the truth and distinguish the important from the unnecessary, to call a spade a spade, and then maybe people will understand and make the right choice. Because since 1991, this is all that is happening, this is all because of the wrong choice. And they are not selectively chasing after them, they are chasing after power, after the placement of their own in the authorities”, – believes the ex-leader of ARMA.

In addition, Petro Kulpa, head of the Republican Fund of Ukraine, former member of the Polish delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in his interview with the Duma noted that, for example, the Midas case is a realization exclusively for the media.

“From a legal point of view, the material is almost empty. The West knows well who steals where. Everyone also knows that a significant part of those who embezzle leave Ukraine. And the financial intelligence of the USA also knows everything. However, the question is that if they really wanted to fight corruption, they would have reached an agreement with Trump: 50% to him, and 50% to Ukraine. But they don’t do it. Because it’s easier to keep everyone on the hook so that they feel it and do what is needed,” Kulpa said.

It should be noted that NABU detective Mykhailo Burtovyi, whose wealth, as it turned out, does not correspond to official income, is currently applying for the position of head of customs.

At the same time, among the former representatives of the NABU, the following have already received leadership positions in law enforcement bodies and state bodies: the head of the BEB Oleksandr Tsyvinsky (ex-detective of the NABU), the head of the NAZK Viktor Pavluschyk (ex-detective of the NABU), the top official of Ukrzaliznytsia Taras Likunov (ex-detective of the NABU) and others.
