The Cabinet of Ministers approved the updated composition of deputy heads of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
This was announced by the Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov.
Oleksiy Vyskuba was appointed as the first deputy minister. Prior to that, he worked as the first deputy minister of digital transformation from 2019 and was responsible for the development of Diya, state services, process reengineering and bureaucracy simplification. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he was involved in technological military projects, including the “Drone Army”, “Drone Line”, the creation of drone-assault units and the development of “small” air defense. At the Ministry of Defense, he will continue to take care of key projects to achieve the goals of the war.
Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk became the Deputy Minister of Defense. Previously, he held the position of first deputy minister, worked as an adviser to the commander of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and managed the main logistics department. The department notes that his experience in military management and security should strengthen rear processes and frontline support.
Serhii Boyev was appointed Deputy Minister for European Integration. He has international experience in the field of economy and strategic partnership, worked in consulting and engaged in attracting partners to the Ukrainian defense industry. At the Ministry of Defense, he was responsible for interaction with international partners, and now he will focus on cooperation with the EU, NATO and the involvement of security assistance.
Lieutenant General Yevhen Moysyuk (direction of troop generation and social security), Lieutenant Colonel Yuriy Myronenko (innovations for the front) and Oksana Ferchuk, who is responsible for digitization and digital transformation, also remained in their positions.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi appointed Oleg Luhovskyi as the acting head of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
