“Enterprises that manufacture and restore transformers for the energy industry will be able to reserve all conscripted workers,” the head of government said.
The Government also reduced the number of criteria for recognizing relevant manufacturers as critical – two instead of three. Recognition of the enterprise as critical is a condition for obtaining a reservation.
“This will allow manufacturers of equipment that is critical for the rapid restoration of energy facilities to work without interruption,” the head of the government concluded.
The situation in the energy sector and the new mobilization rulesOn the night of February 5, Russia once again cut off Ukraine’s energy supply, partially leaving four regions without electricity.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi promised that the employees of energy companies and utility companies involved in the liquidation of the consequences of Russian strikes will receive 100% reservation from mobilization.
Meanwhile, from February 1, the updated rules for booking employees from mobilization came into force. According to lawyer Olena Khomenko, the changes concern only the salary of the booked employee: if before that only those employees who receive 20 thousand hryvnias could apply for a reservation, then starting next month this threshold will be raised to 21 thousand 617 hryvnias.
In addition, some changes have been introduced to reduce bureaucracy and speed up booking processes.
