Details: The court made a temporary decision on the three-month detention of a 60-year-old employee of the Ministry of Defense.

On Tuesday, February 3, the man was detained at his workplace. Him charged under Article 130(2) of the Criminal Code, which refers to “espionage for the benefit of foreign intelligence services”.
According to Onet, the detained Volodymyr P. is suspected of cooperation with Russian and Belarusian intelligence.
Military counter-intelligence of Poland monitored his actions and collected evidence in this case for several months. Now he faces punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of eight years to life imprisonment.
It also became known on February 3 that in Poland sentenced to 3.5 years in prison a citizen from the border town of Hrubeszów for collecting information for Russian intelligence – in particular, about security measures at the strategic Rzeszów airport.
