Ukrainian partners have prepared a secret plan in case of a new Russian attack.

Financial Times journalists have learned from their own sources that the team of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the leaders of Western countries are currently discussing the specific course of action that will be implemented if Russia tries to start a war against Ukraine again.

Basic provisions:

• One of the stages of the plan involves the use of the forces of the “Coalition of interested parties”.
• If this does not work, the US military will intervene.

Kyiv and its allies are preparing for various development options situations According to information from anonymous sources, the specified multi-level plan was repeatedly discussed during December and January by EU, US and Ukrainian officials.

This document envisages a gradual reaction to Russia’s violation of the silence regime:

• within the first day after the violation: a diplomatic warning, and if necessary, active use of the Defense Forces of Ukraine to restore the ceasefire;
• if the fighting does not stop, then the second stage of the plan must be launched – the involvement of the forces of the “Coalition of interested parties” (meaning the military of the European Union, Great Britain, Norway, Iceland and Turkey);
• in the event of a larger attack (72 hours after the first breach): a concerted response by Western-backed forces involving the US military.

It should be noted that on February 4 and 5, another round of peace talks should take place in Abu Dhabi with the participation of representatives of Ukraine, the United States, and Russia.
