According to the source, the parties are considering several options for the development of events with an eye on the next six months, as well as taking into account the upcoming World Cup. The final decision must be made after a detailed analysis of the player’s condition.
Matet’s knee problems were discovered during two medical examinations that the footballer underwent in Milan. It was these results that became the key factor due to which the Italian club refused to transfer the Frenchman.
It will be recalled that previously Milan agreed to the transfer of Matet from Crystal Peles for 30 million euros, but after an in-depth medical examination, the club decided not to sign the 28-year-old forward. In the current season, Mateta played 34 matches in which he scored 10 goals and provided 2 assists.
