There are two weeks left until the end of the Turkish gathering of Kyiv residents. On Monday, February 2, the team held one, but long training session.
The work began in the gym of the hotel. The players performed a set of exercises to strengthen the core muscles, as well as activation exercises, in order to properly prepare for the loads on the field after the weekend.
Next, the football players moved to the green lawn – the way from the hotel to the training field takes only a few minutes, so the players cover it on foot. Here the work began with an active warm-up using fairly high barriers.
During the main exercises, the team first worked on the transmissions. Then the ball-holding exercises began, while the players were divided into two teams, the task of each of which was to bring the ball into the zone behind the line of the square, limited by the chips.
Training ended with jogging. All field players performed a series of sprints in small groups, first with a weight in the form of a sled tied to the body with a cable, and then without a weight.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, February 3-4, Ihor Kostyuk’s team will hold two training sessions, and on Thursday, February 5, they will play their fourth test match at the Turkish national team – against “Veres” from Rivne.
