Fenerbahce officially announced the loan of the French striker Angers Siddiqui Sherif. The 19-year-old forward joined the Istanbul club before the end of the current season with the right to buy out the contract.
The Turkish club have long been monitoring the youngster, who is considered a promising striker, and was eventually able to agree a temporary transfer with Angers.
Earlier it was reported that Crystal Peles was interested in Sherif, who was ready to pay about 20 million euros for the player.
In the current season, the forward played 18 matches in all competitions, scored four goals and earned three warnings.
