In January 2026, the Pension Fund of Ukraine financed pensions in the amount of over 65 billion hryvnias. In total, over 82 billion hryvnias were allocated for all social payments this month, the PFU reports on Facebook.
Of the total amount of UAH 82.6 billion, the lion’s share is directed to pension payments – UAH 65.6 billion. In addition, PFU financed other social programs:

housing subsidies and benefits – UAH 4.9 billion;

insurance payments – UAH 3.2 billion, including UAH 2.1 billion for sick leave;

state aid and other payments – UAH 8.9 billion.
During the month, the bodies of the fund provided more than 1.4 million services to citizens, including consultations and processing of documents.
Funding of pensions for February began on February 2, 2026. Payments are usually made from the 4th to the 25th of the month – money is sent to bank cards or through the Ukrposhta branch according to the recipient’s individual schedule.
We will remind you that in 2026, the retirement rules for Ukrainians will become stricter, because the requirements for the minimum insurance period for the assignment of benefits increase every year.
